The charge component works great - in fact, you can turn the charge component on and off to conserve battery. It charges your phone very quickly. This thing is fantastic and very affordable. I do not sync through it but before I go for long runs, hikes or work offsite meetings I charge it up and put my phone in there and it now lasts the whole time for me and then some. In the past, I would be at about 30% of my battery after a longer hike or something with GPS tracking and other usage through the trip. Now when I get back I am still at 100%. (Posted on 2/28/13)

It really does double the battery life of the phone. It is a little quirky if you try and charge it in the "on" position when the cases charge is completely gone. If you use the docking port a lot, this is not the case for you. This is because the case has a different port than the normal docking port. Which means you have to remove the case to "dock" it. This case would be 100 times better if you didn't have to take the case off to charge. It basically works like a portable outlet, once your iphone batter is low, you switch it on and you get a little charge out of it. Great to use to charge. Only drawbacks is you have to take the case off to charge and The case should cover more of the phone, I dropped my phone and though the case took the majority of the hit, a smidge of the corner of my phone got scratched as well... This one lives up to the hype. Great case. Doubles battery life. FYI. Not a big deal, but the on/off switch at the bottom of the case is not featured on this device. this is such a great case at a great price, I really can't complain.

One thing I didn't realize when I bought it ... the idea is to keep the case switched off until you need it. It literally acts as a charger, recharging your battery when it gets low. I cannot suggest this case enough as an alternative to the higher priced cases. Love it for the weekends when I am not around power all the time. This case holds my iPhone 4 at 100% for at least 24 hours with heavy usage... plus then I have a full iPhone batt after that! (Posted on 8/27/12)

I have had this for almost 6 months. I travel often, as I'm in sales, and this case allows me to go all day without my iPhone 4 dying. I use my iPhone to the fullest--email, phone, text, navigation, entertainment, news & weather, etc...

The case feels great, and weighs virtually nothing. It actually makes the iPhone feel better in your hand, as it is smooth to the touch, doesn't scratch, and rounds out the otherwise sharp corners of the iPhone. Battery life more than doubles, and you can sync and charge via the micro USB cable when connected to your computer.

I love electronics, when they work. I cannot live without this product because I can't live without my iPhone.

This battery case exceeded my expectations! Lasts a long time and doesn't add too much extra bulk to the phone. I also own a Mophie case and with its $80 price come a little more slimness but that's all. The case also gives good extra protection for the phone. It's a great accessory for our iPhones. It works as well as the Mophie Cases but at a much lower price. I bought this case before I bought my iPhone 4s. A coworker had spent three times as much on a nearly identical case for his iPhone 4 so I figured it was a good deal. I recently purchased a Verizon iPhone 4. I love the phone but was rather disappointed in the battery life. I went searching for a solution to this issue and after much research I came across this charging case. After reading the positive reviews I took the plunge. This is the perfect solution to my problem. The charging case doubles my battery life. It is lightweight, sturdy, well made and attractive. I like the fact that the case does not add much weight or size to the phone like some of the external charging batteries do. I don't know how an iPhone user can do without one.
