I've owned this for about six months now. The sound quality is first-rate. When I call people from my car, they usually think I'm calling from my office landline - that's how clear it is. (And no, I don't drive an especially quiet car.)

The controls are a bit fiddly. The volume control in particular seems counterintuitive to me, and the on/off switch is difficult to operate.

The feature set is quite full. The caller announcement and text-to-speech are invaluable, as is the ability to pair the headset to both my mobile and my laptop (for Skype conversations), switching between them with the press of a button. The only thing I'd like to have, that the Q2 lacks, is a mute button.

This headset recently went through a full wash cycle on a front-loading washing machine. After letting it dry for a couple days it worked, although it lost all its settings. I paired it again, and it worked just fine with no apparent loss of sound quality or functionality.

If I ever lost it, I'd replace it with another Q2. (Posted on 3/12/12)

I lost my excellent Blueant Q2 last week, and thought I would try a Jawbone this time. I will be returning my Jawbone and buying another Blueant. The quality is much better on the Blueant, and the fit is much nicer. Since I started using the Jawbone, clients have been complaining they can't hear me very well, and it sounds tinny on my end. I have owned the Q2 for about a month and I'm loving it. I have had a couple of others, Jawbone 1 & 2, motorola and this is BY FAR the best one yet. I love that I can voice dial, and that it announces who my incoming calls are from and I have the option of accepting a call or not. I deliver mail and the phone is in my pocket, so before I either had to pull over and look to see who was calling before deciding to answer or just ignore the call till later. The only issue I've had and it's not really an issue, is that the distance you have between phone, if it is not on me and the headset is much shorter than with the afore mentioned brands. This is a great bluetooth headset. It is remarkably comfortable, the voice commands are easy to use and it sounds great. It goes for $40 less at all4cellular than other sellers (I have no idea how) but it was a great deal. Highly recommend. (Posted on 5/9/11)

The quality and value of this headset is unsurpassed! The only issue, and it is very minor, is thT the battery does not last as long as my old Plantronics unit; it is the only "average" attribute of the headset.

I have found none of the issues seen in some reviews. I have been using my Q2 for 3 months, have traveled 1000's of miles around the country, and found the clarity to be amazing. Battery life is very good. The features are super. My only problem has been occasional issues with name recognition in voice dialing. I have this problem with most voice recognition programs so I assume since the only common factor is me then... (Posted on 4/11/11)

I also give all4cellular 5 stars. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE is great. I had an issue with my Q2. I called customer service and they sent me out a new one the same day. Now on to the BlueAnt Q2 headset. I think this is the best headset that I've ever owned. I ordered one for my husband and he bragged on it so much. I had to order one for myself. We are very pleased with it. Great value and even greater price!

I just received this headset yesterday and set it up today with my HTC EVO 4G. I initially had a problem with the headset not finding the phone (and vice versa), but a call to BlueAnt's customer service quickly fixed the problem. It disconnected my second test call, but I haven't had any other problems as of yet with it when I ran some other test calls, turned on navigation prompts, played some music, etc. The sound quality is good and the voice recognition seems to be working well. I also appreciated having a choice of earbuds--it's lightweight and comfortable. I haven't really had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but so far, I'm pleased with it. Speedy shipping: Faster & less expensive than Amazon. The headset is smaller than I'd expected. Paired easily. Good sound. This replaces an antique Moto BT with a HUGE blinking blue light. Imported Android contacts quickly. Nice price. So far, I'm impressed with the Q2 and A4C. (Posted on 3/24/11)

Works great with my Samsung SCH-U450. Even though I am not using this BT with a smart phone, it still works great. The phone book automatically uploads and announces the caller on new received calls. First of all I would love to give “5 Stars” to the seller, "all4cellular.com" for their great customer service. I purchased my first BlueAnt Q2 from then only to find out it was defective. It would not pair until after dozens of attempts, and after it did the sound was tinny and had a stuttering problem. It missed about every 3-5 words :( .
Upon contacting “all4cellular.com" and they immediately sent me a new one and it the replacement works great. This is truly a hand free bluetooth without having to pay a "service fee" to do what this wonderful gadget does automatically...once you learn the language of how to talk to it that is. But, even if you forget how to ask for any of its many functions, all you have to do is push a button and say "What can I say?" and it tells you, This comes in very handy for someone like me who forgets regularly!
I love the clear reception from both incoming and outgoing calls, and the fact it "knows" and calls my contacts just by asking (the right way). This BlueAnt Q2 is the best of the last five Bluetooths I have purchased (including more expensive Plantronics and Motorola’s). Most of which had audio steaming and voice commands. None functioned as well or as seamlessly as the BlueAnt Q2!
I love the fact it can be updated thru downloadable firmware. I am anxiously awaiting the 64 bit version since I have all Windows 7 computers at home. This is truly a remarkable bluetooth and can only get better thanks to its upgradeable ability.

This is an excellent overall BT headset. Volume is fantastic maybe even too loud. The voice command recognition is better than with my Jawbone Icon. A2DP performs much better than the JB Icon on the iPhone4.

The clarity has been fantastic on both ends.

The BT range maybe an issue for some even they like to walk more than few feet from their phone. Charging takes longer than my Icon and battery life is about the same(3hrs or so of talk time/A2DP). I am pretty sure I wont get 5hrs of talk time.

The only real con are the include ear pieces they did not allow a secure fit. I removed the nub that extends off headset to secure the eargel gels. This allowed a perfect with my Jabra Gels I bought for my JB Icon.

This is the best bluetooth I have ever owned. I have small ears and it fits with no problem and does not fall. The quality is great. With other ones people always complained that I sounded as if I was in a Windtunnel and with this one they do not. (Posted on 1/11/11)

This headset is a steel for this price (~$60 when I got it). Only complaint is that the update software isn't Windows7 OR 64bit compatible. Features are great and it works great on my Android phone. Very comfortable and GREAT call quality. (Posted on 12/21/10)
