I wanted to wait to submit my review. It's been about two months since purchasing my Jawbone Shadowbox from All4Cellular.com and I must say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made.

The quality of this device is superb, the sound is at least two times better than my iPhone without it, and it is super easy to use.

You may or may not need a different earpiece to achieve proper fit, but that and the lack of an included manual (which is easily found online) are minor obstacles compared to the overall great deal you get with this Bluetooth earpiece. (Posted on 4/15/13)

The service was great. 1st ERA received apparently didn't have functioning accelerometer so I couldn't pair.. Got IMMEDIATE response with free return shipping and replacement device received a couple of days later. The truth is when I got 2nd device it paired and when I connected it I realized that the problem with 1st was PROBABALY that the last owner had deactivated the accelerometer for pairing and instruction manual i got from Jawbone website provided no alternate way to pair. While the price was right the fact the all4cellular didn't note that the product was missing documentation and ear piece adapters was very disconcerting.

I'm having problems with voice quality, I'm not sure that the problems are not related to the fact the device doesn't sit in my ear properly with the only adapter that was provided. I'm starting to think this purchase might have been a mistake, regardless of the price. (Posted on 2/21/13)

I bought this headset because I have always wanted a good Jawbone. The headset arrived before I even got an email saying it was shipped, so that was strange. Then I got it paired, but the volume was very very low. I did a update from the web and a reset. Then I followed all the website 'tricks and hints' to get a louder headset and I still can't hear anything from it. I sent an email to customer service and it took over 5 days to even get a response. I still don't know if I am getting a replacement or a refund, and I sent it back last week with the RMA Number they provided. Customer service is horrible! I would not recommend All4Cellular for anything until they get their Customer Service fixed. They have a "Worry Free 30-day return", but that does no good if you can't get response from Customer Service. (Posted on 1/23/13)

I couldn't get it to enter pairing mode through either method at first, but after I updated the firmware through the website it worked fine. I've used it for a week now and it works just like my last two. I bought this as a replacement for the same unit I bought two weeks earlier, which I lost immediately. So, I had all the peripherals that came with that unit. I did a fair amount of research on that one for pricing and Allcelular came in at less than half that price! No extras with the refurb, but that was okay since I had them already. Works as well as the first one, no complaints and now I have an extra charger (it did include that).

Helped me correct a mistake I made at a price that made it worthwhile. I should look for a lanyard for this think, now that I think about it.

The battery in my "refurbished" jawbone era is awful. It will fully charge, say "5hrs of talktime remaining", turn it off, when I turn it on in the morning it's dead. I bought a new one and then took this one apart. The battery is swollen. Would have been a great purchase if the battery was any good. (Posted on 12/18/12)

.Before I go into detail of my experience and findings about the Jawbone Era I would just like to say that I am an experienced Bluetooth user, using many types of Bluetooths over the past couple years.

So why the Jawbone Era?

Well basically, My choice of the Era boiled down to a few key components.

1. Quality and Comfortability
2. Noise Assasin and Bluetooth 3.0
3. HD Sound and Music Capabilities.

The Jawbone Era has many amazing features, from the design to the MYTalk App to the Custom Ear Gels... This Bluetooth is by far the Ferrari of Bluetooth's.

To me the basic three functions of the Jawbone Era set the Standard for all Bluetooth to come. (Posted on 9/5/12)

Had a Motorola Elite Sliver which turned up defective and All4Cellular promptly took care of it, so i ordered the Jawbone ERA as a replacement since I think the Sliver has a design flaw. The earpiece would not seat properly in the charging cradle, so unit wouldnt charge well at all.
Anyway, comparing the 2.
Sliver is much less obtrusive looking and I felt I could even wear it out in public.
Sliver sounded surprisingly good when playing music. Much better than the Jawbone
Jawbone software works much better than the Sliver and it;s nice the headset is upgradeable thru online sync when new features are added
Give the edge for call clarity in noisy environments to the jawbone by a large margin.
Found the Jawbone uncomfortable and unstable w. the supplied earpiece and fitted it w. a Jabra eargel which works great. The Sliver is very comfortable and cant see how you would even need to fool around w. different eargels.

I have used about 20 different bt headsets in my life and this is the best the technology has to offer. Comfortable, background noise reduction is amazing. Battery life is very good.
Just now I called from a Starbucks with loud noise and music blaring and my friend only heard My voice.

I bought this as a replacement to the Jawbone Icon which I loved. I think the software is still buggy. It randomly disconnects and I have to turn the unit off and back on to get it to reconnect. Never had a problem with the icon. After Aliph updates the firmware a couple of times it will probably work better. Also beware they changed the size of the ear buds from those on the icon so if the icon fit perfect like it did in my case then the era may not work as well with the ear buds that it came with. The tapping was a nice feature to answer and hang up especially when working with gloves on. It works great at a Bluetooth but I still love the icon better. (Posted on 8/21/12)

I've used several Jawbones, Jabra and Plantronics. The ERA is the finest by far.
Call quality is outstanding. Ease of use is first class. Losded with many cool features. The ERA is by far the best fitting of all the Jawbones. My unit was perfect right out of the box. Sensor fits flat on face unlike previous models that just would not maintain contact. With my phone set up for auto answer the ERA takes safe cell phone use to a new level. I replaced my Plantronics bluetooth headset with the Jawbone ERA and am very impressed with the features and sound quality. Like everyone else, I was a little skeptical because the list price from All4Cellular was so much cheaper.

I sought out for the latest and greatest headset since I use about 3600 minutes/month on my cell phone and really wanted the extra convenience both in the car and in the office to have both hands free as I work/drive. As a 1-man show in my own business, this is crutial at this point!

Needed: Great voice quality, reliability, battery life, convenience. This seemed to be the best of everything edging my 2nd choice Plantronics Voyager Pro.

Result: My initial order seemed to have some sort of software error--VERY agrivating: continuous repeating messages while talking on it stating that it will restart shortly to apply updates. Also, whenever I was on the phone with someone and another call came in, it would let me know another call was coming in, then dropped BOTH of them! All4Cellular was VERY responsive in sending a new unit out. They have stand-out customer service! This one works more as expected, and although the voice quality is excellent, the earloop falls off all the time, and without it, does not fit my ear well so it steadily drifts away from my face and falls off often.

Despite the excellent voice quality, the aggrivations of this unit have me reaching for my old Plantronics V521 most of the time, and wishing I had stuck with the old reliable and predictible Plantronics by way of the new Voyager Pro.

Another business person I know had an Icon, then quickly went to the Voyager Pro--should've taken his advice instead of listening to the "latest & greatest" hype of this Era. (Posted on 4/17/12)
