I have been using this LED light for just 6 months for about 6 hours a week, and I just noticed two rows of the LEDs have died. I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for. I can't recommend these lights if they die after 6 months (Posted on 4/15/13)

This product is pretty much as everyone describes- cheap but BRIGHT light, so-so construction, well thought out, slightly clunky.I think none of us wants to admit that the product is really excellent considering the alternatives because it is cheesy looking like the little plastic toys we bought for ourselves when we were kids.So swallow the snobbery, enjoy its use, and revel in its retro cool appearance. This is a great light for the price. We bought 2 and liked it so we bought 2 more. We actually use it to light up the banner in front of our store since there is no electricity there.
I would give it a higher score if the mount didn't snap so easily. But cleaning it with alcohol and some epoxy and it was better then new! (Posted on 1/31/13)

Works great for auxiliary lighting, or full white artifial lighting- lacks warmness even with filters. This item does not come with a case of sorts, so your forced to carry this giant thing in your camera bag- likewise for the little effect the filters do have there still is no way care-free way to bring them along; no filter storage. When I read in the "All4Cellular Employee" review that they were able to light an entire room with one of these, I was extremely skeptical. But after receiving mine and trying it out, I'm a convert! These units are stunningly bright.

OK, the battery compartment could be improved--but it works. And while the manual is in badly fractured English, you really don't need a manual to use the thing. All in all, this is a great little light. (Posted on 1/29/13)

Its not Professional Grade, but for 29.95 I wasn't expecting Professional grade.
I needed a fill in light to mount to a Tripod , IT does the Job and does it well.
NO complaints here. If you want a sturdier light you will pay a LOT more.

For $25 I have no complaint. It sits on my tripod providing good lighting. I also use 2 light stands and umbrellas but they are cumbersome to move around. This little thing is so compact.

Received product, but had a battery cover problem. Customer Service quickly replaced and am thankful. Works with AA batteries or Sony NP-F550 type battery. Initial observation is roughly 1.5 to 2 hours use with NP battery. Knocked down a notch for inadequate manual, but can find better use information on Internet. (Posted on 1/27/13)

So far so good. This is a great LED light and is very bright, although you cant adjust the brightness. It is great for the price and it makes a bright light would recommend it to any one to use in dark space.

It functions ok but its worth about what you pay for it. the only really bad part is the battery compartment is super flimsy, batteries just sit in there with no grooves to keep them in place so connections to the contacts are a bit touchy, maybe using a rechargeable battery pack via the adapter would work better. During the recent storm, our offices were without light for days, and we were lucky enough to have a number of these light panels on hand. Firstly, this product is extremely bright-- we were able to light entire rooms with just a single one of these panels. Moreover, the panel's luminosity is adjustable, so fears of too little or too abrasive a light were unfounded. Because these run off batteries (we used AAs, but the package includes adapters allowing it to use five different battery types), we were kept from having to work in the dark or work clutching flashlights during our power outage. The battery life is also super long! We used them for three days without a hint of loss in brightness.

Once our power was restored, we tried using this product for other practical purposes, like lighting photo and video shoots, and they passed with flying colors, mounting to a camera quite easily. The package includes three different diffusing filters, so adjusting the warmth of color spectrum was simple. We have a theory (that we unfortunately couldn't test) that these babies would be super fun additions to parties as well. Definitely among the most useful and versatile products you can keep on hand, whether for fun or emergencies! (Posted on 11/9/12)
