it is the identical 2430 mAh battery. It lasts way longer than the stock battery.
I have wifi on at all times. I rarely play games, because games drain the battery life like crazy. I often take pictures and use the browser. Even when my phone is idling, wifi is on. Generally, my new battery lasts between 40-50 hours. On the other hand, the stock battery usually dies after one day without charging, even if it was idling for the entire day.
If you do use this battery, DO NOT pay attention to the "estimated time remaining." At 100% battery life, the phone estimates that there are 16 hours remaining. However, after 24 hours since the last charge, there is 51% battery life remaining. Clearly, the estimated time is misleading. I am extremely content with the prolonged battery life.
