The OtterBox was good for the price but, it has problems. It bubbles up, leaving sticky marks and it makes it harder to press the icons. My sister has a OtterBox also, and she dropped her's in a spa and after letting it dry out it came out just fine. (Posted on 4/21/12)

Great service and price. Only complaint is the OtterBox shield. Hard to find a good way to remove the smudges, despite all of the research I did on the Internet. Does a great job of protecting, though I wish it was easier to see the screen. (Posted on 4/8/12)

I know this is sold as "refurbished," but the two I bought looked just like new, but without the boxes and instructions. A quick trip to YouTube solved the instructions problem. A second trip solved the air bubbles problem... Hint: dust screen and screen protector lightly with powder.
The case is very sturdy, and seems to have a good quality of construction. I hope never to put it to the test, but it looks like it would do a great job protecting my phone. (Posted on 4/7/12)

I had been using my Otterbox Defender for about a week or a week and a half when I dropped it from a height of about 3 feet - it landed on my boot, then slid to the floor. I picked it up, and was quite perturbed to discover that my iPhone screen had cracked, and the digitizer was no longer working for the bottom part of the screen, rendering my iPhone virtually worthless.

The defender looks like a very protective product - but experience has left me quite unimpressed. (Posted on 4/3/12)
