It does what it says! My battery is always red so this helps out a lot. Takes a little while to charge but other than that I love love love it!!!!!

I bought this battery extention with the purchase of my HTC Vivid and I love it. The ONLY thing that is a bit of hassle is going to be finding a 3.5mm extension to adequately clear the case surrounding the jack. Other than that, it's great for battery life. As they say in the manual make sure that you give it a good charge the first time as it takes well over 8 hours for the first charge, but given how these larger display smartphones eat on battery life, this is a great addition!!
